Nethra Art Studio - Product Review

Uma Viswesh is the Founder of Nethra Art Studio. I know Uma since 5 years. She is an artistic and creative women. 5 years before when we planned to gift Almind's playschool teachers, Uma said that she will make a customised handmade doll gift for them. It was a cute miniature doll of a boy and a girl with the textual wish "Thank you for helping me grow". It was the first time i saw the magic in her hand. I was waiting for the right occasion to get something from her art studio❣️

Once after attending my friend's daughter's Salangai Pooja, i was mesmerised by the performance of her and her team. I wanted to gift her something special, i remembered Uma and sent her few pics of the dance performance. As promised she delivered the doll on time and to my surprise she replicated the exact dance costume. ๐Ÿ’™

And for my friend, she made a gift doll depicting their family. That was the cutest gift. I'm attaching the pic below. Speciality of this gift is my friend's family always wear a family dress code and this gift perfectly matched their family. ๐Ÿ’›

Someday later when i was browsing my FB, I saw a doll girl holding diya in her FB page, i wanted to buy one for me. I got a set of the doll(purple color๐Ÿ’œ) for me. When i received it, it added extra cuteness to my place and also the dolls were sturdy. So, i ordered two more sets for my sister(Red color ❤️) and my mom(Blue Color ๐Ÿ’™). I used it for Karthigai Deepam and those were the piece of attraction among all diyas.

For my son i wanted to gift him something special, I wanted a showpiece for his study table, which would motivate him whenever he sees it. I told Uma about my idea and his interest ❣️ She patiently listened to my requirement and made a gift which was exactly as i expected.

This is our family ๐Ÿ˜€ Yeah we too follow family dress code ❤️ and we have our name etched in the gift ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Forgot to mention about the gifts which her daughter Vibha gifted me when she completed her schooling in our school

She has amazing collections in her facebook page "Nethra art studio". Do check out her page if you are looking for customized handmade gifts ❤️

What I did on a Women's day

As everyday I started my day at 4:00am. Did my usual chores like opened windows and main door, lit lamps, took shower, watered my plants, fed my fishes, cleaned my parakeets cage and got ready for my yoga class.

5am - 6am is my yoga class. It was an amazing session as always.

6:15am - 7:15am I have my mindfulness session. I vented out my distress, discussed about the change in me and learned new chakara and meditation today.

After the session i had some office work to do, so i continued staying in the balcony where i attended mindfulness session.

When I went inside after my work, Vijay already cooked chicken curry & rice for lunch and boiled milk. Thank god that saved a lot of my time. I kept fruits for kids for breakfast. Yes, we eat unprocessed and uncooked food for a meal in a day.

Almind gave me a cute handmade card. Kids started with their online classes and Vijay with his office work. I started to get ready for a school, where I was invited as a chief guest.

I went to the school(Chennai girl's higher secondary school, Perambur) after many diversions and misdirection of google map. I was late by10 minutes ๐Ÿ˜ญ I met my cousin Deepika there, had a word with the head mistress. I was asked to address the 11th grade kids on the topic "Do's & Don't of technology in Covid". I have already sent my presentation slides through email so everything was set well in advance.

In the auditorium, there were bunch of 200+ girls eagerly waiting for my speech.  After the formal introduction i started my presentation. Since it was a post lunch session, i thought students would be sleepy but to my surprise it was an interactive session. I was so happy when a couple of girls asked questions and got their doubts cleared. One student said few things in the slide are new to her. Happiness is sharing knowledge, you all agree right? ๐Ÿ™‚

When I came out of the school, suddenly I thought of visiting my in laws who stayed very close by that school.  My Mother in law likes chocolate cakes. So bought her few chocolate cake slices and went to their place. My in laws are all surprised when they saw me. Wished Patti who is 90 years old and my mil for women's day, spent some time there and returned back home.

After reaching home had some evening snacks, spent some time with kids. Albrain gave me a beautiful hand made card. Then I got ready for my online Beledi sesssion at 6:30pm. After the session, showered, prepared and had dinner. Spent some time on blog and winding up the day with lots of love and memories ๐Ÿ˜

Hope you all had a great day ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Mrs Kamala Rao - Opportunity in Beauty consultant/Grooming

Few days before I met this beautiful women๐Ÿ™Ž in a women entrepreneur lunch meet(W2BW) who looked early 40’s but naahhh!!! She is 59!!!(Next month she completes 59!!!). Look at her, Can u believe that? Talking to her further,  puts me in wow๐Ÿ˜.  She got what she dreamt off at the age of 49 yeahhh did u hear that? 49 :) As a pampered child her interest in dressing up never went down even when she had her other interest in dancing and oration.

After her marriage due to her personal responsibilities she lost interest in grooming herself but instead she concentrated in teaching kids which lasted for 12 years. In mean time she tried her hands in garments, jewelry sales and online jobs, however she found financial independence and recognition was still missing.

At the age of 49 she pursued what she missed those years, yes she got an offer to work as a Business Development Manager๐Ÿ™‹ for a Chennai based Cosmetics Manufacturing Company. Since then she is been conducting training and grooming Sessions to Corporates, Housewives, Beauticians and the contestants of Mrs. Chennai Beauty Pageant.

Her journey was not definitely a bed of roses. She peeped out of her 45 years sheltered life, marching forward along with her dreams and empowering other women๐Ÿ˜‡. Now she is able to take care of her dependent parents-in-law, gift a car to her husband, gift jewelries to her daughter-in-law, financially support her younger son higher studies and take care of her professional growth.
You can check out her website http://kamalarao.com/ and get in touch with her to join her seminars and online training๐Ÿ˜Ž.

She always says “If You Believe in yourself and in your Dreams, It’s Never Too Late To Reach Out to The Stars!”. Now its your turn to chase your dream and catch up a star :)⭐
