This is for people who ask me how we balance different religion in our home....Read the above feedback for 10 days Vaigasi Visagam function at my native temple, where they conduct talent shows, competition for kids and women and also stage performance for senior citizen people.....my parents are one of the managing team in that temple....Being raised among these people from my childhood and looking at people as a human and not with their race or religion, made us respect eachother religious belief and live peacefully amidst of difference.... Parents are always a role model to their kids

My Investment during Lockdown
When the lockdown was first announced in the month of March 2020, I couldn't sit at home all of a sudden, my mind was not prepared to be idle at home, not sure of what to do next. I researched countries which was affected before us and saw they were already in their 75+ days of lockdown. I thought this might extend for us too and wanted to invest the time gaining some knowledge. Started a certification course in "Basic Child Psychology" in Udemy and followed by that read many online articles, kids engagement posts, usage of digital technology and so on which was enhancing my knowledge of interest. Though I had psychology in my Post Graduate subjects, my interest in psychology started from my childhood where i like observing people, their mindset, behavioural patterns etc., and from my 17 years, where I would hunt all psychology books in my Under Graduate College library. Which was in turn very helpful for me in parenting my two kids and also when I took over Tiny Teddies, I could easily handle young minds with ease.
Now, again we are into strict lockdown, I wanted to do some professional course on Guidance and Counselling, did lots of research but couldn't find a proper one. Since I was searching and surfing the courses availability for months in my browser, Facebook popped me an AD on "Counselling Children and Adolescents". Along with that I thought of completing Advanced Child Psychology too. And here I am with my completion certificates.

Chief Guest for a Badminton Tournament
I was invited as a chief guest by my childhood friend Arun for a Badminton Tournament which happened today at 21.B Badminton Academy, Vyasarpadi. We both discussed over phone about the event and came to know that the participants in the tournament are not professional players. There were 24 teams under the category A, B, C and D(6 teams in each category), 48 members in total.
I want to share a few things which I observed in the tournament. Some members enrolled themselves in the academy to have some physical activity for themselves and some have enrolled to follow their passion. Many have mastered the game(It's cool, if we follow our passion we can master it with ease). Either way they have a good mental health, they seem fit and happy. I visualised socialising, appreciating, motivating and cheering each other inside the venue - thats amazing right 😍 When we have any regular physical activity for ourselves we tend to have an excellent mental health which results in keeping ourselves, our family and friends happy which means our society is happy. This is a small give back to our society from our side 😀
I delivered a small speech and handled over the bat and the trophy to the winner team. Mr. Arun Kumar(Founder - Blue Whale Technology, Pallavan Salai, Thiru Vi Ka Nagar) and Mr. Aarif teamed up and bagged the first place in the tournament.
Visiting people and learning more about them makes me happy. I get most of my inspiration and motivation when I meet people.
What's your recent inspiration? Do share with me in the comment box❣️

Elephant Rope
A gentleman was walking through an elephant camp, and he spotted that the elephants weren’t being kept in cages or held by the use of chains. All that was holding them back from escaping the camp, was a small piece of rope tied to one of their legs.
As the man gazed upon the elephants, he was completely confused as to why the elephants didn’t just use their strength to break the rope and escape the camp. They could easily have done so, but instead they didn’t try to at all.
Curious and wanting to know the answer, he asked a trainer nearby why the elephants were just standing there and never tried to escape.
The trainer replied; The only reason that the elephants weren’t breaking free and escaping from the camp was because over time they adopted the belief that it just wasn’t possible.
Moral of the story: No matter how much the world tries to hold you back, always continue with the belief that what you want to achieve is possible. Believing you can become successful is the most important step in actually achieving it.

You are the Best..
A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this $20 bill?”Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this $20 bill to one of you - but first, let me do this.”He proceeded to crumple the 20 dollar note up. He then asked “who still wants it”?” Still the hands were up in the air.“Well, “he replied, “what if I do this?” He dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. “Now, who still wants it?”
Still the hands went in the air.
“My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless; but no matter what happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.
Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who love you. The worth of your lives come not in what we do or who we know, but by… WHO WE ARE!”
