Small initiative in preserving butterfly species. Cocoons are collected from our backyard, fed with leaves and protected until it turns into beautiful butterfly.
Thanks to my neighbor Mrs Jascintha Fernandes aunty from whom we got a opportunity to lend our hands to save nature. The idea arose when she saw the cocoons have been destroyed by other birds/animals. She started preserving them by placing it cleaned jar, fed them with leaves and let them out when they turn into a beautiful butterfly.
